All Pilots Are Welcome!

Home Acres Sky Ranch is an aviation community where all pilots are welcome to make this airpark their home. Pilots at Home Acres fly a variety of aircraft. Most are single-engine planes - both tailwheel and tricycle gear; including both production airplanes and home-builts. Residents see neighbors flying aerobatic planes, float planes, amphibian seaplanes and ski-planes in addition to a twin-engine plane, self-launching glider, helicopter, gyrocopter, powered paraglider, hang-glider trike and model airplanes. Some pilots are building new planes and others are refurbishing old planes, so there are always projects in progress.

There is also a nice variety of pilots living at Home Acres Sky Ranch. There are professional pilots, certified flight instructors and aircraft mechanics as well as pilots with careers outside aviation. An abundance of expertise is available. Pilots with 10,000+ hours of flight time, thousands of hours, hundreds of hours, and student pilots relatively new to aviation can all be found at Home Acres. Both retired and working pilots enjoy this airpark lifestyle. Some have lived here for over 30 years and others just moved in this year.

People from across Michigan and several other states have discovered the friendly aviation community of Home Acres Sky Ranch. There are residents who fly regularly and others who don’t fly any more. Some residents are looking forward to getting their own plane while others are happy on the ground enjoying the airplane activity. However an airpark home fits into a pilot’s lifestyle, that option is available at Home Acres Sky Ranch.
